This spill stopper is the best thing since sliced bread! I have a larger size that works beautifully, and I bought this one for smaller saucepans. I don't know how I lived without it. Nothing spills over when I boil pasta, rice or lentils. No more worrying about any kind of spillover.

These work really well. After a few washes the plastic smell is gone. I used to swear by the wooden spoon method, but this is far more reliable since there's no room for failure when stopping spills.

I tried it for the first time the other day and it works as advertised. It really does prevent boil-overs, so your stove stays clean. I was skeptical at first, but it works.
To sum it up: it works. I put a pot of boiling water with a slab of corned beef in it and covered it, then adjusted the heat to a rolling simmer. Not a single drop spilled onto the pot or stove top. Works just like they said.
Love this product, it does its job. Just note that it gets very hot after a while, so use a mitt to lift it.
